Rev. Dr. Michael F. Bird (Ph.D., University of Queensland) is academic dean and lecturer in New Testament at Ridley College in Melbourne, Australia. He is the author of more than 30 books, including The New Testament in its World, coauthored with N. T. Wright, and Religious Freedom in a Secular Age: A Christian Case for Liberty, Equality, and Secular Government.
